No I think if we continually pivot and we are inconsistent in our message and in this instance completely at odds with it then yes spending money to fight yourself is a bad spend and by definition a waste. My guess was super low btw marketing probably makes up 11% of our total budget so $20 million is a drop in the hat and we are lucky if that’s all we wasted during this period. Why would you be against a consistent and uniform brand message?

Back in March this whole branding thing was addressed, or covered, in this article:

And please note that one mascot possibility was Chickens.  That would have been great for football or any sport for that matter.
