When it comes the the jerseys it’s been green, white, yellow, black, pink, digi, American flag or something close to Usf gold. Never once has it been anything close a metallic gold and when it comes to college and professional sports that seems to be the norm.

Which is why it is idiotic when people say that we must not be pushing South Florida because they see USF on campus.

But I’m pretty sure if I pull out the pre UA jerseys they are closer to “deep” gold than the beige above.

I will get out my spectrophotometer, I know I am on an island here but I still think screen printed metallic gold covered jerseys look cheap and minor league and there is probably a reason no one in D1 and professional sports was using it on a regular basis before last Sunday.

I’m not arguing your opinion on screen printed metallic, blah, blah, blah, I was simply stating a turn away from the whitish beigey tan color brings us closer to original colors, not further from them. BTW, ASU has recently worn Adidas uniforms that look like the numbers are sewn on plastic - so, prepare thineself.

It is not lost on me the apparent discontinuity between my argument that the uniforms are both stock and so unique that no one else has done it before, I want them to be unique but in a way that I alone as the final arbiter of aesthetics find acceptable.
