I remember CCS saying he was done with smaller defensive backfield. Wanted taller guys back there.

This might be an indication that we have a pretty good WR core this year. But I am worried now about DB issues. Joey is saying this may only be a temp move.

That, or that Dukes just isn't able to catch the ball. Kind of a bummer--he seemed like he could really be an impact player at WR, and we've had too few of those over our history.

Tall is good provided he can knock the ball down on 4th and 24.

He can catch the ball. He requested the position change, b/ he saw we need safety help and he want to simply hit the field more this year. We can always switch him back. There are at least 3-4 senior receivers, so he can play safety this year and move back the year after.

Dukes needs to stay at WR.  If Sands doesnt make starting RB this Spring he needs to get on the field at safety.
