I can't take this at face value. No matter what he tells the team, things change when certain people call and offer certain numbers and there are plenty of programs that are still looking that could offer those numbers. Almost every coach tells their team they aren't leaving, until they do.

Looking like he will stay.  Hope he can spend some time with Belichek in the off season to learn more about special teams then come back and lets make waves next season.

I really hope we keep CCS, but, if he gets offered the job over Willie, it would be really funny and should send a message to CWT that he could have stayed here and gotten a better job. Honestly, I really didn't think UO was a good fit for him. If he led this team to 9-2 or 10-1 this year, he would have been a top Target for UF and FSU and had his pick of which job he wanted in his home state.

Oh well, if he goes to FSU, I wish him well. Dream job or not, I can't bring myself to feel bad for him and his $20M contract.

When they start saying things like this you know you need to watch out. Coaches are like snake oil or used car salesmen, not to be trusted.

I hope he didn’t say that because he’s gong to Ten

No way Taggart doesn't take FSU. This is his dream job in his home state. Imagine the recruiting classes and the Gulf Coast Offense in Tally. And Leavitt's defense with all that talent. That's some scary chit for Clemson, Bama and everyone else. Prediction, Mike Leach to Oregon.

That could be one scary team part of me wants to see it since we dont face them really.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
