He has to stop talking about execution and no complete game.  If that’s truly the case after you’ve been in charge 10 games it’s all on you and your chosen staff.

I'm hearing from a couple of my friends who work in athletics that it's clear Coach Strong doesn't like being here.  He sees it as a temporary position as he moves on to a "real" coaching job.

A big part of that is ignorance. 9 wins is the second best total in team history and we have 2-3 games to go. I know we all want more and better, but we shouldn't forget what we have.

He got the IPF rolling so I'm good if he is gone ....

In hindsight, it seems pretty evident with his comments earlier this year about fan support, but it's has become really apparent over the last couple games.  He's not made it a secret to other coaching staff and now some of the team knows.  

Hopefully they are wrong, but this isn't a good look.

I liked it better when he claimed to have nothing to contribute and stayed quiet rather than posting to confirm it.

Strange this thread would come up. Best friend in Kentucky called yesterday & said there is talk in Lexington that Strong was on the short list for the UF job.  Thought he was joking but he was serious. Wonder where that information was coming from. I admit he is not the coach I expected & has not proved one darn thing except his love for the word “execution “!

Well, he did just say that UCF got a B12 invite, not that they accepted .... We all know they're holding out for the SEC so he could have been correct.

There have been various mentions of CCS being speculated for the UF job, ever since their coach was fired, but he's usually pretty far down the hopeful list . Just check twitter.
