I'm hearing from a couple of my friends who work in athletics that it's clear Coach Strong doesn't like being here.  He sees it as a temporary position as he moves on to a "real" coaching job.

A big part of that is ignorance. 9 wins is the second best total in team history and we have 2-3 games to go. I know we all want more and better, but we shouldn't forget what we have.

Considering that we scheduled so many Big 10 teams originally, I don't know how much leverage we had on negotiating a buyout with all of them. We were probably just happy to get all those games and hoped that we would continue getting more games with them in the future.

I doubt we have any leverage negotiating games with P5 teams. Always a G5 team that will be happy to take a game with them and give them their win.

Strong is gone the first chance he gets and I don’t blame him. I just hope he takes Gilbert with him, that guy flat-out sucks.

List of things I'd like to have happen before Schiano becomes our new coach:

1. Catch gonorrhea. 

2. Re-hire Chris Cosh as our DC.

3. Be forced to eat Grape Nuts for breakfast every morning.

4. Live in a world where the first three Indiana Jones movies don't exist, but Kingdom of the Crystal Skull does.

5. Have Donald Trump win a second term.

People outside of USF love CCS. I root for those people; I hope their aspirations come true.

I'm at a point that I'm willing to entertain the idea of schiano football at USF. Yes, it has gotten to that place for me.
