Good story. It will be tough to see him go. Truly brought our program back from the brink.

No doubt. His misfortunes, and how he over came them  have made him a young man many can admire. He did not let losing his family  define him, make him stumble.

Good luck QF.

Great story...thanks for sharing.  Quinton deserves the success he's earned now, and well into the future.  Incredible player; incredible young man.

If he doesn't make it in the NFL and hasn't already decided what he wants to do some high ranking USF alum with hiring power should consider reaching out to him.

I agree completely. I would love to see him stay in the Tampa Bay area. And he strikes me like another Warrick Dunn or Derrick Brooks type of guy.

I just want to take a moment to acknowledge Mr. Quinton Flowers.

I was on the Tulsa side of the field with my wife and 7 year old son. We walked down to field level after the game to take in the final moments of the last home game this season and celebrate the Seniors.

The players all funneled down to the band/student section. They all shook hands and hugged one another after the game. It was really nice to watch...all of a sudden #74 (Ruff) comes over and acknowledges the few of us standing there, shakes our hands and genuinely thanks us for the support. What a nice, classy young man.

As time passed it seemed clear to my wife, my son and me that we were on “the wrong side of the field”. After the players slapped hands with the student section, they walked down behind the Bulls bench shook hands with the fans and made their way to the locker room.

All of a sudden, Quinton walks over to our side of the field with his beautiful baby girl in his arms...and shakes hands with the 5-6 of us that were on the opposite sidelines. He went out of his way to do it. My 7 year old son had tears in his eyes, he shook hands with Quinton Flowers.

I told him “Son, that is the greatest QB in Bulls history. But more important than that, what a great man. After all that he has been through. He’s humble and appreciative of where he is”

He took the time to acknowledge a tiny group of people that were well away from the rest of the pack.

I wish him the best of luck for the next 2 games and for the rest of his life. After all he’s been through he deserves a great life.

Love this guy. Even his demeanor is endearing to me. he's never satisfied with less than perfection. It is going to be sad to see him play his last time for us. Special kid, special athlete, special leader.

I’m going to miss Q and the rest of these seniors who bought us so much good football. They  believed enough in this program to make the commit to spend their collegiate careers here at USF.  What I’m really going to miss though is the way Q and these guys carried themselves. Win or lose they did it with class, integrity, and grace. It’s was a privilege to root for these guys and I’m grateful to them for all the good memories. I hope we get three more games to add to the memories, but whatever the outcome it’s going to be first class with Q leading the way.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
