I don't get how they rank Miami and Clemson both in the top 4..... 

I'm it's my hope that no conference championship loser be in the play off. I don't want to see conference championship rematches. The loser had their shot to show they were the better team and lost.

Basically the SEC and B1G run all things CFP and do what they want.  Sometimes they'll consult with their ACC and Big 12 (10?) buddies.  A PAC 12 coach outburst has no effect on them.
