We've seen more plays than we saw tonight...but no, I don't think there's any more than we've seen.  And Gilbert is just not good at playcalling, especially when the chips are down.

I never thought there were more plays I just think he doesn't use what he has to set things up. 

I also think the coaching staff puts too much on the defense meaning they go into "run up the middle" mode as soon as they go up a score.

I think we just wanted to believe there had to be something more.   He was touted as an up-tempo Briles type offensive guru.  He took a potent offense and made it vanilla.  Yes, we lost some high caliber players, but the team still has a lot of talent.
