Didn't Purdue lose to Rutgers?  Not a real impressive resume.

Yes 14-12.

I absolutely hate strength of schedule. Why doesn't the NFL implement this? Such a load of garbage, so tired of hearing about it. Any college team can win at any given week.

Because the NFL has a clearly defined path to the Superbowl where every division winner and the wild-cards have a chance to get there by winning. Whereas for college winning a division or conference means squat for the National Championship. They also don't have the gross disparities that college ball has and the clear wilful marginalization of conferences.

I know, I was being mostly sarcastic. Making a case against the whole disparity in college sports. Programs need to be treated equally given that any school can win on any given day. Too bad money is the loudest volume.

I actually liked it better when it was the “mythical” national champ. Until we get into a power conference I will not change my mind.

That would count as a solid P5 win now lol

I love how when we were in the Big East, the schedule was considered week (specifically Syracuse - 6 & 2 record)

Now, our 2015 & 2016 wins against SU are considered "quality"

Thats because they can keep moving the target.  It's fun.
