Because the NFL has a clearly defined path to the Superbowl where every division winner and the wild-cards have a chance to get there by winning. Whereas for college winning a division or conference means squat for the National Championship. They also don't have the gross disparities that college ball has and the clear wilful marginalization of conferences. Making a case against the whole disparity in college sports. Programs need to be treated equally given that any school can win on any given day. Too bad money is the loudest volume.
