Why do we care about SI and CBS polls or even ESPN for that matter? The only ones that matter are the AP and Coaches

Does anyone think that those who are voting do not realize that this team is 14-2 over the last 16 games (with a bowl win over an SEC opponent and we have almost everyone back) with our only 2 losses

Of course we want them to win. Any OOC victory by an AAC team helps the conference as a whole, and increases our SOS.

Exactly.  Too early now to worry about bowl projections. Way too many games left to play before there is any potential "controversy."

Bowl predictions are just people throwing stuff at a wall. Most bowls don't want the same teams in consecutive years. The writer probably doesn't even know that USF was at Birmingham last year.

Still a lot of football left to play. Would like to see how AAC opponents shake out. I fully believe we'll play at least one, if not two ranked teams from the AAC when it's all said and done. Should help SOS and get all the writers to finally shut up about our cupcake schedule. People giving credit to SDSU that beat an Arizona State team that is probably no better than Illinois and a Stanford team that looks overrated at this point. We'll see though.

If USF and SDSU both go undefeated than SDSU likely gets the bid. We need them to lose.
