Yeah... it was probably good, but if he cut right to the sidelines, he had another 10 yards and could have stepped out.

I think the playcalling was conservative on purpose. We should see the real offense come conference time. We still put up over 500 yards of offense in 3 quarters...that's really good. 

The oline was the biggest disappointment to me...they were pushed around a lot and didn't create many holes for the running game

I was thinking the same thing, I'm not used to watching him do the typical slide that other non-running-oriented QBs do, but then I realized it's just not worth the risk this early in the season for 10 yards vs an opponent we *shouldnt* have any trouble beating

I thought it may have been that he had two defenders on each side but then had a blocker in front of him that he was having to slow up for ...

I agree, I don't think this offense suits our personnel. The game was tough to watch, we had some success with long bombs but that was because SJ is an inferior team, the coverage was there we just made the catches. I don't think this offense is suited for our most valuable weapon which is QF's legs. We utilized our WR blocking so much better in the running game with the Gulf Coast. I miss Taggart already. The defense did look better though, which is nice.
