Depending on who we play and whether we win, could possibly get to 5 or 6 with a win or drop to about 12 to 15 with a loss. Although they say they try to look at things differently, voters look at teams at the way they think teams should look.

I think CFP committee will hold schedule and brand very much against us.

If Houston, Tulsa and Memphis can all be ranked when we play it would help our case as much as possible. That being said, if we crack the top 10 I would be amazed. ECU, for example, plays ranked VT and WVU. If USF performs better against ECU than those other ranked teams, that would at least give voters some measure for comparison. This is a link to a thread on the American BBS Board: American vs Power teams The American has 17 games vs Power teams Vs ACC- 4 games Georgia Tech at UCF UConn at Virginia Boston College at UConn Virginia Tech at ECU Vs SEC 1 game Mizzouri at UConn Vs BigTen 3 games UCF at Maryland Illinois at USF UC at Michigan Vs Big12- 5 games ECU at West Virginia Texas Tech at Houston SMU at TCU Tulane at Oklahoma Tulsa at Oklahoma State Vs PAC 2 games Houston at Arizona UCLA at Memphis Vs Independent 2 games Navy at Notre Dame Temple at Notre Dame American vs Power teams

Do we even get a preseason Top 25 ranking losing QF, many many seniors, and possibly Coach Strong? I'm interested to see what everyone thinks..remember, we end the season at #5 but lose everything mentioned above.

Thier rankings are like 34 and 41.

USF will then go on to beat Auburn in there Bowl game. USF will be in a new conference the following year.

After losing QF and other important seniors, I think we're an 8 win team at best next year. So no, I don't think we'd be ranked. QF is the heart and soul of the team, he's that important.
