Could USF be the benefactor of UT's impatience? Smart has ties to the area and would be a great coup for USF athletics.

Looked like he had trouble getting up from his knees and holding his chest as he walked back toward the bench. Announcer said he has some history of heart issues. What a genius call. I'd be willing to give Coach K a chance too if he wants to finish off his career by the beach. :-P

And what about their plans to fire him? If both are, yes, then let's double up on our recent acquisition via the Texas Banking & Loan program.

He is a great midmajor coach but has yet to show us that he can win at a major school in a major conference like the AAC.

He has a top recruiting class coming in, with one of the best point guards in the country. He will get one more year for sure.

He's not going anywhere. Even if they can do him, a NC State or other p5 program would jump all over him
