Yes, but he had to sell Strong on coming here and getting Texas to agree to the financial arrangement. Keep in mind, he is essentially coaching here for free until the Texas buyout lapses. While he said he didn't want to take any time off from coaching, we weren't his only suitor. So, while the decision to hire him was an easy one, getting the agreement in place wasn't a guarantee. For that, Harlan deserves credit.

And that's what the lawyers are for.

Tried to send you a message.  Didn't you pay your bill?  Is your email the same?

Harlan just "committed" to USF via Twitter. Guess he turned down that AZ job? Or was never really being considered...

Or is it the "vote of confidence" an owner gives a coach just before he fires him?

Does his commitment now put us in the top 100?

I like what Harlan is doing.  He made a good call to keep Taggart a He has made good hires in replacing some of our coaches that have left, including Strong.  I like what he is doing and I hope he stays.  However, I think his body of work here is still a work in progress.

Men's Basketball, under his leadership has been a disaster beginning with the Massiello debacle, academic scandal, Everything surrounding the Antigua regime has been a mess.

The other thing Harlan still needs improvement on is attendance at all of our sports.  There is a lot of work still to be done in improving our football scheduling.

Love what he is doing, but still a lot of work to be done.

That's really what he needed to do if he's staying. Glad to hear it.

(devil's advocate disclaimer) now let's hope there's not another account @MarkHarlanUA saying he's 100% ready to relocate. Oh whew, the handle failed so maybe we're okay. :GoBulls:

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
