not so sure a top freshman wont come in and win the job

Johnson was a top freshman and has three years of college level conditioning. A top freshman could come in and will certainly play, but Johnson will get the starts and the majority of the carries. He is an EXCELLENT back.

Gotta agree with coach T but it would be a crime to not get him the ball in as many ways as possible. Just like we did with Mack this season. Mack was often used in the slot to prevent defenses from keying on him. DJ has the best hands on the team gotta take advantage of that

They don't accelerate fast as Mack does but they can catch the ball better.. I think Sands can accelerate fast and strong.

Honestly Mack could bust some big runs at any time but there were also many many times where he ran sideways waiting for the lane to open up and got stuffed at the line....DJ is a more consistent north south runner and expect Sands to be also

If it helps, DJ was Coach Strong top running back recruit at Louisville before his departure for Texas. DJ is extremely excited, U could bet ur last dollar NO RUNNING BACK in the country would work harder then him this offseason.

funny thing is, I met tice's brother in Miami today. He was working for a cruise liner. He introduced himself after he saw my wife and I wearing usf gear!   He is extremely excited for his younger (bigger) brother!

There may be some dropoff from the RB position, but I don't expect all that much.

I am wondering who the dynamic playmaker will be at the WR position that will pick up from where Adams left off. I think there are plenty of weapons.

Believe it or not, I'm predicting it will be Wilcox

There are a ton of receivers. Barr still probably takes his role back as slot guy. Saloman looks to be a beast if he gets more opportunities. Antoine too looked affective in the time he was giving in those bubble screens. There will be guys who will step up. McCants might be that burner.

Will need a new PR and KR with Adams gone and DJ running more.
