The most accurate depiction of yesterday.  Defense got some lucky breaks and capitalized.  Offense when vanilla in 2nd half after a big lead.  Didn't step up until the absolutley had to.  

But they came through...

Well this was a team win and would have been a team loss.

Despite our porous defense all season,  we still manage to go 11-2.   It was frustrating to watch the missed coverages and wide open receivers during the bowl game.   Hopefully Strong will teach these guys how to play real defense in the off season and with most of the offensive starters returning,  we have a lot to look forward to.   I'm not holding anything against the defensive players.   I don't think the coaches were putting them in the right positions to do their job.

Strong saw a clinic today on our strengths and weaknesses.

I think he will keep 1-2 guys at least for a year or 2.  Usually the incoming coach keeps a couple coaches around to help the transition.

Yeah this wasnt stated enough, which is part of what's unfair with perception of programs and bowl games. USCe was on a major upswing, finally getting the offense going. Bentley looked really good in that game even when the line got to him. But again, QF just looked incrediBULL! His pass to Kano Dillon in OT was so pretty.
