Do not touch our offense staff for next year. Let them keep scoring 35+ points per game. Fix the Defense!

He is a great offensive mind and some UF fans wanted him as UF offensive coordinator. However, some 'personal' issues caused JU to look in another direction for coach. He turned that into a 13-year professional career. He has studied under at least 11 offensive coordinators including: Steve Spurrier, Lindy Infante, and Don Shula. After his long professional career, Kerwin took a job at a brand new high school called Trinity Catholic in Ocala, Fl. In 5 years, his football team went undefeated, winning a state championship. He then headed to Jacksonville for his next job, as some of you know, at Jacksonville University. This non-scholarship 1-AA program has had one winning record before Kerwin acquired the job in 2007. In just 2 years he won the conference championship, two more years, a 10-1 season with another championship. Jacksonville University might sound familiar because in 2013 this non-scholarship team gave us a challenge, and last year, Kerwin led his team to a victory over the Blue Hens. His offense was in the top 5 every year while he was at Jacksonville University, not to mention, his defense who led the league in turnovers for 2 years. After last year, Kerwin took the job at a DII power house in Valdosta State. This season they are off to a 5-1 start with an impressive win against West Georgia which the Blazers haven't beat in 3 years. The Blazers are averaging 338 passing yards a game and their defense is 2nd in turnovers. This man has won everywhere he has been and I think would be an interesting candidate for the recent opening for head coach. Tell me what do you guys think about this potential hire? I understand a coach wanting to assemble his own staff and all, but I'll say again I think he needs to keep Hiller, Weist, & especially Kinnan. Do what you will with the defense, just don't screw with our resurrected offense.

After last year, Kerwin took the job at a DII power house in Valdosta State. This season they finished 8and2 and made the playoffs when they were projected to finish 5th in the conference! They were 1st in the conference in passing and 8th in the country! Also on defense they forced 27 ints which was 2nd in the nation and forced 34 turnovers which was 3rd in the nation! This man has won everywhere he has been and I think would be an interesting candidate for Offense Coordinator. He knows Offense and his system is explosive but also has great ties recruiting Florida!
