Gotta admit, he was very well respected and probably taught some valuable life lessons to these young men...

The primary reason I think they played so well. Kids will step up for the right guy--the one that gets vested in them.

So at what point do you stop following WT on social media (i.e Twitter)

Stop following who?

Of course many on this board will be following Tags at Oregon more than USF football. I think he has a tough first year and many will say "I knew it was his team's talent and not his coaching ability." Then once he does well people will say "we should have never let him go"...the  psychosis of a message board...

While I won't be following that closely I'll be forced to see and hear about him a lot. Will probably go catch the Washington vs. Oregon game next year though.

Also I stopped following him on Twitter sometime yesterday evening. Didn't want to wait and see whY he had to say about Oregon.

Posted this on the Bowl thread, but thought it is appropriate here:

One can only hope an undefeated season next year will get us a bowl match up with Oregon...QF running the ball down Slick Willie's throat would be poetic justice...

Auggie has been very quiet.  Team Captain has an opportunity to show leadership now.

Just because he's quiet on the Devil's tools, doesn't mean he's been quiet ...

Just because you're not hearing him, and he's not shouting from the rooftops doesn't mean he's not "leading."  There is such a thing as quiet leadership.

Auggie actually posted about it on his instagram. Said he had mixed feelings but was grateful for Taggart giving him a chance
