Leavitt turned down an Alabama that was about to get hammered by the NCAA for the second time in a decade and it was widely known. Everyone turned that gig down and they eventually hired Mike Shula.

Just interviewed Jim Leavitt & asked about FAU job: "I haven't visited with them. That's probably not the direction I'm looking at".

It would be interesting to hear his response with respect to the USF job.

And Strong's weak performance at Texas concerns me.
