Coaches will come and go but I will still be here...chearing on the Bulls!

But with no realistic path to the highest pinnacle of the sport, shouldn't you keep your options open?

I've heard from someone that nothing is imminent. Relax everyone...until it's officially time to panic

Yeah but who will Miss State want as their coach??? When will this crap end???

Les Miles would seem to be an obvious pick.

Nah, I really don't care.  It will always be four of 16 different teams that always get inTo the playoffs. it would not matter what conference we are in.

I think they're probably trying to lure Chip Kelly. Let's face it, he's an ace college guy, but with the Eagles and 49ers, it's been a disaster. He'll compete for national titles at Oregon yearly, even with the resurgence of the Trojans, Bruins, and the Washington Schools.

And Chip Kelly had a host of recruiting violations when he left.  He didn't go to the NFL because he was offered the Eagles job.  He went because the NCAA slapped him with a two year show-cause.  He could not work at Oregon or anywhere else in the NCAA.

He got Oregon on probation once, I would be shocked if they hire him back.

I don't know about NEB.  But if the Oregon board makes me an offer I can't refuse,  I'm taking my keyboard to Eugene.

Virtually, of course.

I love this board, but I have a family to support.

so anyone think part of this seeking other jobs 2 years straight on Taggart's part is the rumor of your AD giving him an ultimatum mid season last year or he would possibly get fired?

Does he not like Harlan?
