Before we have CWT going away let's look at this from a M5 powerhouse.  The D stinks and the offense was rewritten with help from his high school coach.  Assuming he goes to a M5 school he'd be able to recruit even better and maybe the power run game would work.  I'm not complaining and glad he is here.  But not sure if people are going to throw $4 million his way.  His "power" offense doesn't play well outside of a few schools.

His offense is built around a freakishly talented running back playing quarterback. 2018 USF could fall off a cliff again. He'd still be a gamble for top programs until he wins the must win games like Temple and the conference championship.

Next year will be the perfect year for Kean and/or Oladukon to get PLENTY of reps since, with our weak-sauce schedule, we should be building comfortable leads in nearly every game.  No excuse for an ill-prepared QB in 2018.

Unless they push Q for Heisman in which case they will leave him in to run up the #s.

I hope those two don't do anything to piss off CWT.

They should be good ..... unless Q has an off game in the bowl and those on here waiting to pounce start the Kean/Oladukon 2017 "win the starting job in practice" clamor. Then they better make sure their insurance is up to date.

I'm already helping them fill out their transfer paper work.

It's simply supply and demand

If the market (another team) demands your services and is willing to supply more cash than we can, he's gone.

Asking for more is a sign of respect - giving us the option to match the market

Yep.. if one of the bigger schools is desperate and throws guaranteed money at CWT, he might be gone this year

If Taggart wants to move on, have an 11+ win regular season with a conference championship and the rest of open jobs in college America will be throwing money at him.

If he stays after that (I am assuming USF will not be able  to match), we have a lifer.
