I agree, but I wonder to what extent this can be vetted in the recruiting process.  I'm sure you have to take chances, especially when you aren't considered an elite program, on players with a high degree of skill but not as much in the way of maturity and character.

I have heard for 2 years now that this will be the year for MBB. This always happens to our BB team - injuries and suspensions and players leave and then people just say the what ifs. Meanwhile I'm not feeling my $2k investment in BB tickets will get much entertainment value in return. I sure hope I'm wrong.
