- anyone notice on a few of Navy's plays that their backs moved before the ball was snapped? Happened a few times late in the game, don't know how the refs missed it.

- on offense, we are getting the snaps off so fast that the defense isn't getting their substitutions off the field in time. Again happened multiple times Friday and in a few prior games, amazed no laundry.

That last second td never happens most likely if we run clock down better.

Wondered the same thing.

Also, why didn't NAVY need to kick the xtra point.

NCAA rule. Paraphrasing here, but if a TD is scored with no time left, the EP is only attempted if it will affect the outcome.

One player in the backfield can be in motion as long they do not move toward the line of scrimmage .

That non extra point affected Vegas.  The line was around 7 all week long, so I'm sure there were some very happy people and some pissed off people hoping for a miracle cover.

It doesn't happen at all if we didn't get that penalty on our last drive, clock would have kept running.  Willie was pissed on that play and he pointed to the clock...he wanted Kean to be more aware and milk the clock

Just rewatched the 2nd half and confirmed one thing that I thought I saw live.  With 8:20 left in the 4th quarter, Navy ran the option to their right.  After the QB crossed the line of scrimmage he tossed the ball forward to the option back.  No call.  It was an illegal forward pass.  It's easy to lead the nation in fewest penalties if they ignore the rules when you have the ball.

Re the original post there was one play when a back appeared to be going toward the line of scrimmage. Enough so that the Navy fan in front of us wondered where the flag was.

I caught that too. I think Navy's offense lulls not only opponent's D to sleep but the officials too.
