Changes "Could" Be Coming on Defense

I think a big part of it has to do with 5 guys weighing 175-190 on the field at the same time. We are too small and get shoved around. We are asking guys who weigh 175 to tackle running backs weighing 210 plus.

That is an off season strength and conditioning issue. All of our guys should be minimum 190# if not 200. And it doesn't matter, they can't be afraid. I've seen some tough small guys before. You cannot fear their size, just have to learn how to take some contact and use proper technique to not get injured and take the guy.

Yes and we shouldn't have 5 defensive backs in against a power running team. Navy will rush for 700 against our defense

100% agree. 

With 5 DB's they are not physical enough to stop a power team. 

Also DE's are playing terrible & Sanchez has been non existent.

if they don't change Navy gaining  700yds may be conservative

Navy, Memphis, SMU, and UCF all the sudden looks really tough to find a W. I hope CWT and CRW can figure out what changes to make on defense to get this team back on track. I believe we have the talent we just need the coaches to figure out the schemes.

We just don't seem to have the talent to run the 4-2 defense effectively.

 Stack the box and let them try and beat us with the past. Even if they do that, our offense still gets more touches.
