If your fan enthusiasm lasts for more than 14 days call your doctor!

The Lightning game didn't help.

This is starting to feel like an abusive relationship.  Go Bulls!

Students.

USF had some major incentives for students to attend those games... if they wanted good seats for FSU, they had to go to both Towson and NIU.

Students don't account for the 20k less fans for ECU and about 6k less for UConn though

There was 16k butts in the Seats for ECU. That's about 10k less than the number that came to see NIU. Insane.

I guess I'm missing something here.

Why would any fair weather student (or fair weather "fan", for that matter) care about getting "good" seats to the FSU game...and only that game?

Basically, they thought that was going to be a party so they didn't want to miss it?  Perhaps it was hyped up on campus so much that it really never was about football or supporting our team, but more about the party.  So much so, that the students turned out for Towson and NIU to secure their spot for the FSU party.  It really is the only explanation in my opinion, because really, how do you lose interest after that?  Yes, we lost.  One game.  Is that all it takes?  We're 6 and 1 and attendance is dropping?
