Nope. He transferred from Miami/Ohio to... UCF!

He ended up dropping out.  Hhe probably realized dropping out would be worth more than a degree from that diploma mill.

He has a significant amount of gold teefus.

I know everyone will insist his rant is great for the kids, but it's pretty embarrassing we'd send him a personalized jersey.

Plies may not be of significant importance to "us" but the kids love his music so having him as a supporter is a multifaceted big-deal.

Famous rap artist, free publicity, and added enthusiasm for the Bulls!?!? All it cost was a jersey with his name?

I can think of many other things that are more embarrassing to a University that's recognized for being cool. Kinda like a head coach being accused of striking a student. 

Different strokes for different folks. He sells an image and a way of life that isn't designed to speak to some that frequent this board. I guarantee you that a great deal of those on the team love his presence and enthusiasm though. Just my two cents. Not intended to be an attack of any sorts, just a different perspective.

Plies graduated valedictorian from his highschool, graduated from USF in business only to become a gangster rapper lol smh. He's a funny rapper but it would of been nice 4 him to encourage kids to be like the non-rapper part of him.

Or that many should try to emulate.  Rap culture allows him to be him.  It won't allow the guys on the team or anyone else to be like him in the real world.  It's really kind of stupid behavior.

I had just read this tweet that Orlando Antigua liked on twitter, just before watching the obscene, ignorant sounding Plies crap.  It's probably what really made me think of something other than "the kids like him".
