Fess up! Who thought we were going to lose when it was 17-0?

Interesting to read the replies here.  We've become so used to losing that when something like a 17-0 hole happens our "here we go again" mentality comes up again so easily.  Totally understandable, and if it happened against FSU it wouldn't be so easy to climb out of.  Or would it?  Honestly, with this team I think as a fan base we can start to allow ourselves to believe we can win and SHOULD win every game.  Jim said it in another thread--this team is talented enough and deep enough to not have to play a perfect game and still be able to win.  Let's be proud of the team CWT has built and have confidence in them to win every game...and if you buy that, man, what a difference it is as a Bulls fan!!

I thought "gee, what a bad start. but this is in our wheel house.  Soon, we'll be chucking the ball downfield and trying to break out of this stupor".

At some point, I think most thought the offense would wake up.  The defense is what had me scared.

I'll be completely honest. I was complaining that our margin of victory is not going to be as much as it should. Never did losing even cross my mind.

I wasn't too worried, knew eventually the offense would get things going. The way Cuse came out running the football was very concerning though and they were playing into a situation I was definitely terrified of; scoring early and often. Defense really stepped up which is great to see. Always wondered how the team would fare being down multiple scores; glad they had that challenge before FSU and conference play.

Mostly agree with this statement. BUT, we are not talented enough or deep enough to come out and not play with the passion to win. I think we came out flat, or way to tentative, on defense. DCook will destroy us if we come out tackling, and missing tackles, like we did this week.

Adjusting and shutting down their scoring after the first quarter was maybe the best part of this game, and maybe be one of the most important lessons on the season.

GO BULLS!

I can't see them being flat for FSU.  In fact, I think the  opposite will happen.
