I didn't really think we were done, but man that first quarter was ugly.  I think we should all take a moment to realize from the 2nd quarter on we beat them 45-3.  When this team plays its game it's a thing of beauty.

I wasn't happy about 0-17

I knew we'd score some points, but not so sure we could stop the Orange. And we didn't, really. For the most part they stopped themselves.

I won't lie. I wasn't sure about Cuse the way they played FSU. Wasn't sure what was going to happen so I started with the hard stuff. By the time it was 17-0 my bourbon was going down as fast as I thought USF was. Thankfully we started scoring or I may have drank myself into a stupor.

Did I think we were going to lose (when we were down 17)? No. I knew we had too much firepower. I was just waiting to see if the defense could do anything to stop them.

I just didn't want it to be a shootout, as it becomes a potluck outcome.

Told the wife after 14 - 0 if Cuse scores another TD, I'm done.  If they get held to a FG, then I'll keep it on but we better score afterwards.

I thought this was a game we may lose, which is why I didn't do the prediction thread.  My thoughts was losing 35 - 21, but didn't want to post a prediction of a USF loss, so i skipped.  So glad I was wrong!

I honestly thought we would lose. Human nature: Road game as a 2TD favorite + looking ahead to a home game vs. FSU + Louisville kicking the crap out of FSU earlier (how can you not be further distracted.  Can't wait to be there next Saturday.
