I expect him to be gone after next year if he has another great year. As a RB you have a short shelf life and if the NFL will take you anywhere I think you should go, as much as it would suck to lose him.

Yes it will, but if he has as good of a year next year as he did this year he'd be stupid to stay. Running backs are just one hit away from career ending injuries. I'd hate to see him leave, but would love to see him get paid for his ability.

Oh absolutely, and running backs are also susceptible to over use in their college career making them NFL busts.

The turf was awful. That aside play calling really prevented him from getting off early.

Play calling was conservative for the first 3 quarters, which I felt caused the shortage in Mack's touches. All WKU had to do was load the box and stuff the run, which is what they did hence QF 3/10 31yds in the 1st half.

QF was 3/10 for 31 yards because WKU loaded the box and stuffed the run?

Perhaps we should have tried that in the second half...

There were some critical downs in the 4Q where Mack was inexplicably absent from the field. Was he hurt?

He had trouble all game cutting on that turf... I guess they didn't pack a different pair of cleats?
