I hope next year we run more (some) plays from under center. I think that would help our short yardage game (and Mack) dramatically.

He had trouble all game cutting on that turf... I guess they didn't pack a different pair of cleats?

Maybe I am wrong because I only follow USF this closely, but we seem to have this problem more than other teams. Don't they bring longer cleats. Not that hard to change them out.

I mentioned during the game I didn't notice WKU having as much problem.

Still though the turf was clearly bad and dangerous.

USF needs to adapt better. To the turf, to other teams, to other teams adapting.

just gonna reiterate that Mack set the USF single season record for yards at 1381, with 30 less attempts than Hall's '05 effort, to boot. surprised that no one's really talked about it.

Mack is a beast! Sick combo of speed and lateral movement!

If he adds another 10 pounds without losing speed this offseason... look out 2k yards!

This is an incredible accomplishment. All on the oline now. Thor seems to think the guys behind the seniors will do just fine, however. Have to imagine Mack is done after 2016, but he could easily own every RB record in the USF books.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
