I did not foresee us playing a ranked team in a bowl game after the first 4 games this season. Excited about seeing a new stadium, even if it is a baseball stadium. Wish I was able to spend more time down there as we're driving down Monday morning. Eagerly anticipating cheering our Bulls onto victory tomorrow!

Mind is pretty low, like a 3 or 4.

Hard for me to be excited when I have a 3 pm meeting on Monday.

Call in sick now

This is a clear cut 10 for me and here's why. When I was in undergrad (2008-12)I thought bowl games were going to be an automatic thing for USF from here on out, then CJL got fired and we al know the roller coaster of emotions that followed. I now work for USF and have watched the talk of the campus about the football program, and all athletics, take a major upswing. I promised myself as long as I could, especially as a season ticket holder, I would go to the next Bowl Game we got into. Able to get out of work and take a couple of days in Miami to cheer on the Green and Gold. Don't forget this is a very good WKU team with a generational QB, who is C-USA champs and #25 in the AP Poll. A very good statement can be made here, and an even bigger one next year.

And as always.....GO BULLS!

I will say 10 for sure! Although I would rank my excitement higher if I was at the game. Me and the wife had a trip planned for a long time and this is one of two bowls we wouldn't be able to make it to. We have found a local bar that is going to play the game for us and we will be drinking some good beer and screaming at the top of our lungs for our Bulls today!

Before I answer, what is the scale we're working with here?

10 - Salma Hayek's rack

.

.

.

1 - Chris Cosh doing anything football related

To keep with your 10 analogy, shouldn't 1 be something like Jack Black's junk? :P

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
