The section I was in had a lot of Temple fans in it.   The majority were absolute sore losers....  just crotchety sore 

You were lucky. Probably even worse winners .... Temple is still in Philly, right?

I didn't have the same experience as some mentioned above.  Any Temple fan I had contact with yesterday was smiling, friendly talkative in a nice way.     

Thinking back to the game in Philly a few years back  they were also nice as well. ( had a few invite us to join their tailgate)   Did have a cpl give the friendly BOOO as you walked by but did so while laughing in a joking manner than  started talking nicely.     So I cant say anything bad about my experiences with Philly Fans during USF games.  (Now the Lightning and Bucs games vs Philly has always been a different story and the typical Philly Fan).

Your attitude probably has a bit to do with how you're treated.
