Saw rumors of him as a possibility for UCF.  Scoffed at them, but didn't realize he still had family in the area.  Wouldn't like that hire for them (for us), him or Doc Holliday (and possibly Durkin) could have them turned around pretty quick.  Hoping they go after Cristobal as I think he's highly overrated, and would be their Skip Holtz.

If our last three coaches have proven anything is that they have some vested interest in being at South Florida and not just the next popular name that comes?  We dont want someone here who is just waiting for the next stop.   Leavitt was a local product. Skippy's family was here, and Willie is another local product.

This is a tough head coaching pool for a school like us with so many other jobs available.  Find a way to win so we can keep Taggart, and hope C. Florida misses on their hire.

We have a coach.  Even if we didn't, why would we want Lane Kiffen?  I can't see anything there that is positive.  Hopefully UCF hires him or Houston Nutt.

Lane Kiffin is a terrible head coach and really I don't think he fits in well at Bama as their OC.

Bama is stacked with talent with a decent QB and a brickhouse for a line. Satan will be smart to get rid of his arse ASAP.

Besides, Kiffin was garbage in Tennessee, couldn't handle Southern Cal, and why would anyone want this guy to lead their program?

We need to worry about USF and what we are doing and that happens to be winning for once and CWT should start to get a little credit.

If we can steal one in Annapolis, I will be even more excited to buy extra tickets for next year on top of the eight we have currently.

I don't think Taggart getting fired is "expected," even though Skingraft has sources who apparently disagree.  Jury's still out but best case scenario for USF is for us to continue to show improvement so CWT stays. 

Maybe some of the Kiffin family is still here from Monte's days as the Bucs DC?  Lane's wife is the daughter of John Reaves (he's David Reaves' brother-in-law), former Gators and Bucs/Bandits QB. so he definitely has some Tampa ties. 

I sure wouldn't want him as USF's coach though.  Bad juju there.
