There is no team on our schedule that we can't beat with the talent we have.

There is no team on our schedule that we can't lose to either.

I think if we played the way we have played during the last 2 games (for the whole game--not just the 2nd half), then we can beat anybody--but I don't think we will--I just think we are capable of it.

weren't both of temple's last two scores on botched punts

Oh  I was saying our (USF) special teams arent so great either.  Wasnt that last score a punt block?

Don't get ahead of yourself on beating temple. They pitched a second half shutout and have allowed just 29 second half points all season. Key to beating them is getting fast out the gate and putting them in a hole. P.J. walker isn't a great qb, so forcing them to throw will be necessary. That and no turnovers. I don't know how we play Jahad thomas.

We can take both of these teams

I still think this depends on which USF offense shows up. I'd like to see a complete game of offensive dominance.

My concern with temple is their passing game. They were ripping off good chunks of yardage on deep and intermediate routes all second half against ECU. Relying on LBs in coverage is not a strong point for our D, so pressure up front will be key. Ideally, the front 4 can get pressure and let our DBs play the pass. I think corner and safety blitzes will get burned if we try them.

I think letting the DBs play man coverage is the next self-imposed hurdle the coaches need to overcome.  We get burned in zone coverage more often than not.  That's my big concern.  I don't have a problem with an occasional corner or safety blitz, possibly on early downs.

I'm not opposed to sprinkling in a few well disguised and well timed DB blitzes here and there, but I just don't like the idea of our LBs in coverage. Hence, I hope for D line domination. Hill seems to be coming on strong as of late.

I think Hoggins and Nichols have above average coverage skills, just a little short, but capable.
