Army is the worst team in football. The B1G says they count because of their military history. I guess Navy and Air Force are chumps

Of course, that is just the B1G.  With the exception of BYU, those other ones are in the B1G's "geographical footprint."  I wonder if that has anything to do with it.  UConn at least has been as sucky

Did they really say that? Your link in another post doesn't work. I think it was the SEC that treats BYU, ND and Army that way because they're the only Independents so figured other conferences for the same reason ...

UCONN and Cincy are way out of our league...we just don't have the resources available at USF to compete with those kinds of programs.

doesnt make  sense to count those 2 as p5 schools as they are not

 

the big ten boast their academics but they look pretty dumb here

These teams count because the Big 10 says they count.  Don't try to attach logic to college football (especially scheduling).
