Dumpster fire of a program, bare cupboard, losing mentality. Yeah 3 years is long enough to be a championship caliber team SMH you can't back up the claim that we don't look better on the field. The team has a stronger feel about them and I know you'll come around. I'm just afraid that some of you have associated the growing pains with CWT, and no matter how successful we may be in the near future, you'll won't be able to enjoy it because of the hate your holding onto.

Justin Fuente went 4-8 and 3-9 his first two years at memphis. I'm not panicking yet. We're two games into the season.

It's still early and we played maybe our toughest team we will see how this season plays out.

I really want CWT to succeed I hope but not having this season a legit quality qb could cost him his job.

FAMU done. If we beat Maryland, which we should, we will get 6 or better. FAMU, Maryland, U Conn, SMU, ECU and UCF. A chance we take Navy or Syracuse. While Memphis, Temple and Cincinnati are the ruff ones. Just my thoughts for now.

Maybe I'm being a pessimist (I think I'm being objective), but how do so many people here think we "should" beat Maryland after seeing our offense and our defense get torched for almost 300 yards by a RB? I think Maryland will be the favorite going into the game and it will be considered an upset if we win.

Well that wasn't any rb maybe one of the best in nation.

Fsu while young is loaded with the top talent with yearly top 5 classes.

They have by far the most talent of any team we will play.

Lets see how we look after Maryland.

If offense puts up like 14 points we can start to panic.

I'm sure the sophisticated gambler recognize the value in that, and it show us +8.5.

Maryland doesn't have Dalvin Cook, Roderick Johnson, or Roberto Aguayo. They don't have Northrup, Smith, Andrews or Ramsey on defense. Maryland hasn't been even close to FSU in recruiting. UFS is in the top 10. How about trying silly. The word that comes to mind for trying to equate FSU to Maryland.

lol the pessimism on here is pretty bizarre. We went 4-8 last year and went up against a playoff team with a true sophomore QB in his third start. The **** did you guys expect to happen?

I think we go 5-7 because it seems as though the AAC has improved a lot this year. Even if this does happen, it doesn't mean Taggs will be fired. He might get one more year with Asiantii leading the troops. How awesome would it be if Taggs and Strong both get fired and we somehow snag him?

Strong would be one of the few I'd fire Taggs for. And I'm with you, I don't think 5-7 lands CWT in the un-employment line. His recruiting speaks for itself and if we look improved, he should get a chance to see what he can do with either an experience starter in QF or with Woulard.

Allen as hc and he has to bring in a OC that actually knows something about offense.

If the defense looks lights out the rest of season.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
