Linebackers are clearly our biggest weakness on defense

Fullwood doesn't like to tackle, that much from yesterdays game is clear as mountain spring water.  Keep him off the two deep until he learns how to tackle.

Agree.

Keep him in the returning game, maybe give him a shot at WR.

our best corner ever didn't like to tackle. in fact most shut down corners don't. deion sanders hated to tackle.

Revisionist History 101.  Mike Jenkins loved to tackle and laid wood at nearly every occasion.  Did he not wrap up sometimes? Sure, but that was the exception not the rule.  Did he catch serious flack in Dallas for not laying the wood (Derrick Ward?), yeah, he did.  But with USF, the kid would stick his helmet in there nearly every time.  Fullwood is No-wood (sorry bausfkid, had to borrow), watch the game.

Facts always stand in the way of a good argument.

How many more Venus de Milo attempts at tackling did Fulwood have on Saturday?

come on Trip. one play for Fullwood is the rule not the exception. he should be cut immediately

Haven't re-watched game yet so I really didn't know. I think he ended up with 5 tackles so didn't know if there were more he left on the table like Cook's 1st td run ...

I feel like if there were more than 1, someone would be here ******** about them too.

Actually got a chance to re-watch game and he had another questionable attempt later in the 1st quarter but after that he was fine. Broke up a pass in the endzone and he was the one who knocked the helmet off the runner in the second half with, I think, one of the top hits of the game ..... legal ones, that is.

I agree, Flowers would have thrown better balls, tackles would have been made against Cook in the open field, and USF would have won going away if only we had filled our section with better USF fans.

LB depth will be better this week too, with Whitehurst's return. Childs in the secondary should help a little too.

Pressure, pressure, pressure, I hope we can get to that QB more this week.

Difference:  Jenkins was a shut down corner.  Fullwood is playing safety...they are EXPECTED to hit hard.

What's the weakest part of our D?  I promise, I won't cry about you having an opinion that may differ from mine.  I was at the game supporting USF...you?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
