Swanson gone?

Saw on another board that Kenard Swanson has disappeared from the roster. Anyone know what happened?

This sucks, as he really proved to be a weapon in the passing game.  The rumors when we were recruiting were that Taggart was taking a chance on him when other programs, like UF, gave up on him due to grades.

 

Now, we don't know if he can stay at USF & rejoin later, or has to go to junior college and then maybe come back.  Will be interesting to hear about that.

Correct, Jup, grades have been an issue for Swanson going back to HS. LSU passed on him due to this.

Depends how we line up. I am not to sure we are deep at the full back position. I think this is a lose for sure though.

If you add up all the potential starters we have lost recently its pretty amazing how much talent we have on the team. Even with those losses we are still appear to have some great potential ready to step in. Hopefully no one else has any disciplinary issues!!

Swanson was a great option back, good hands and pretty quick. This sucks, but mostly for him. I hope the kid can get the academics in line.

With all the tools these kids are given there's no excuse for not staying eligible. Hopefully this is just a temporary hiatus and he learns from it and works his way back.
