I've never seen the board so united.  You must be so proud.

However I was mislabeled a "troll", "too negative", or "not a real USF fan".

Based upon the current state of the Department it is painfully clear that I was right and you were so very embarrasingly wrong.

Thusly, I demand an apology from anyone on this board who dared insult me or my character during this education that I so graciouslyprovided.

You know who you are.

beastiebull

I am really not sure what the point of this post was other than to expose what appears to be extraordinarily thin skin and give the impression you stopped crying long enough to come back here to face those people who were mean to you.

If you missed the very clearly stated point of my post then there is no need for us to have a discussion.

Your "clearly stated point" was also based on a false premise (read: the program's demise), as pointed out by JupiterBull, and summarily put to death for good by USF's beloved Matt Grothe.

I don't think you're really butthurt, I think you're trolling as usual. There's a lot of newbies on here since you last posted and they don't know better, but the trolling by the board's regulars has gotten more sophisticated since you've been gone. You might want to catch up.

What false premise? See above definition of demise.

Not trolling, btw.

All my words are straight from the heart.

Give that man his cookie so he will be on his way.

Beastie, you've always been a **** when it came to Matt. You predicted a downfall after the program fell off the cliff, that's like being the tallest midget on the little couple.

I'm not trying to get personal, but you posting this only makes it tougher to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Edited for complete accuracy .... but to be honest, he does embrace it with a passion.

I mean, it doesn't seem that he was wrong...

First, he didn't predict anything ...Second, if he had predicted the "demise of usf athletics", he would have been wrong.

de·mise
dəˈmīz/
noun
noun: demise
  1. 1.
    a person's death.
    "Mr. Grisenthwaite's tragic demise"
synonyms: death, dying, passing, loss of life, end, quietus; More
    formaldecease;
    archaicexpiry
    "her tragic demise"
    antonyms: birth

So USF athletics has not failed?

Please do elaborate....

PLEASE tell me you are NOT a USF grad.  Demise is a term of finality. I'm typing this extra slow, so that can sink in.

We certainly are in a valley or possible decline in SOME sports (we don't know if we're moving up or down in football & or other sports...but we DO know we're MOVING).

It kind of sounds like he is trying to be a Disney villain using those words. Disney World is not the only institue in Orlando. The two most popular professions for UCF grads are digital farmers on Farmville and Disney cast members. It sounds like Beastie is the latter of the two and doesn't know how to break character.

Can this thread just go away already...this waste of space is taking up valuable real estate on my 5.7 inch Note screen w/ TBP6 skin.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
