Demise is the end.  We're in a slump, but Harlan is turning it around.  And, several spots are tearing it up (WBB, Golf, Soccer, Tennis).

 

Taking joy in others misery makes you worse than the words that apparently offended you.

 

So, when the winning returns, I trust you won't...unless you somehow contribute to the winning ways.

 

Please exhibit where I have taken any joy in this.

No because there is nothing scientific about predicting lotery numbers. 

I utilized my acute understanding of athletics and the highly logical forethought that I was blessed with to be able to see what was coming for USF athletics.

No but they had a shot at becoming one and struck out.

I would contend that my prediction of our demise may have preceded his. I predicted our demise towards end of 2009 when someone from the Athletics Dept called on me for a pulse check on letting go of Leavitt. I remember saying "many have grown impatient with his 8 win seasons, but if you use the McMurphy/Miller/Erskin crap to ax him, you'll rip the guts out of the program." True words. The only leadership the program had was taken out. What else could be expected? It didn't take an Einstein, Beastie.

BTW I agree with this assessment, however there were MANY who thought we were better off with his replacement, although you won't hear them state that today.
