Just a fun little topic looking forward.

What will stands look like before and after their band leaves the field?

my guess is the low 30's... and drop or rise depending on how the season goes.

Because it's FAMU and a lot of people like to watch their band, I'd say around 20-25K to start, depending on the game goes there may be minimal early exits

One fan base will be leaving early.  Hopefully it's theirs!

I will try and make an educated guess. Our last two home openers had announced attendance of 35,470 (McNeese St - 2013) and 31,642 (Western Carolina - 2014). The trend has definitely been downward, but I imagine that the draw of the FAMU band will be good enough to keep the numbers respectable. We have played them twice before. The first being the home opener in 2005 and that game drew an announced crowd of 43,122. We played them again in 2011, drawing an announced 50,128, but it's worth noting that it was the third game of the season after we had beaten Notre Dame and we were ranked #20 in the country.

The other big factor is whether or not they will open one side of the upper deck for this game if ticket sales go well. If they do not, then the maximum the attendance could be is 41,441.

Based upon all of this, I will go ahead and say we get an announced crowd of 38,650.

I don't know but I'll say there are a few of us in California that will be there.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
