Our last two home openers had announced attendance of 35,470 (McNeese St - 2013) and 31,642 (Western Carolina - 2014). The trend has definitely been downward, but I imagine that the draw of the FAMU band will be good enough to keep the numbers respectable. We have played them twice before. The first being the home opener in 2005 and that game drew an announced crowd of 43,122. We played them again in 2011, drawing an announced 50,128, but it's worth noting that it was the third game of the season after we had beaten Notre Dame and we were ranked #20 in the country. The other big factor is whether or not they will open one side of the upper deck for this game if ticket sales go well. If they do not, then the maximum the attendance could be is 41,441. Based upon all of this, I will go ahead and say we get an announced crowd of 38,650. Edited July 29, 2015 by BullyPulpit
