Was wondering how professional a writer this was with the inaccuracies ...

Heath, originally from Michigan, most recently coached USF from 2007-2014 leading the Bulls to a 97-129 record but brought the team to the tournament twice in his last two years, once winning two games, and in 2014 losing the opening round.

....  but then saw his pic and it all fell into place: ajblack.jpg

A little more detailed article from a real writer ...

Stan Heath will be reunited with Jim Christian, one of his former basketball assistants at Kent State from 2001-02, but this time the roles will be reversed as Heath will be joining Christian’s staff at Boston College as an assistant, Christian confirmed Monday night.

“When I was with Stan the first time, it was such a great working relationship,’’ Christian said. “It was almost like a great partnership, so it’s the same thing now.’’

Heath, 50, whose departure from Kent State for the University of Arkansas paved the way for Christian to become head coach at Kent State in 2002, will join Scott Spinelli and Billy Wuczynski on BC’s staff, filling a void left by the surprise departure last month of former assistant Preston Murphy to become an assistant at Creighton.

I would say it's a lateral move at best until USF basketball steps up their game. Just my personal opinion. Good luck Stan. Thanks for the one tourney appearance since USF entered my life. It was a great weekend in Nashville for sure (ask any of the guys/gals that made that road trip).

Good Luck Coach. I am not sure why he is so disrespected here. The man brought USF the most successful season in School history.

When a Hall of Fame level coach has a few bad seasons throughout a career, he can still be considered a great coach. Just the same, when a bad coach has a few successful seasons but mostly bad, it does not make him a good coach. Coach Heath never BUILT any thing here. I still give our success to on-floor Coach Ron Anderson Jr for LEADING the team to victories like CSH never did through passion and hardwork. It was Ron's character that made that team think they were better than they were. Plus, AC was new and fresh and hadn't been figured out yet. I will never give CSH credit for getting to the tournament and winning our play-in game vs Cal.

Here is an interesting fact. In the history of USF Men's Basketball, Seth Greenberg is the only former Bulls head coach to ever be the head coach of a division 1 NCAA game after leaving USF. Every other head coach saw their head coaching career die at USF. Here is to hoping Stan and Robert can someday be head coaches again.
