GAME DAY vs Hurricane Coming off its third bye week of the season, USF will close out its six-game home slate with the first-ever visit from Tulsa, which is also coming off a bye, to Tampa. The Bulls have won eight of their last nine at home. The game will mark head coach Charlie Strong’s 100th as a head coach at three schools. SENIOR NIGHT: USF will honor 23 seniors, 10 whom have already graduated, before the game in what will go down as possibly the most accomplished class in program history. They have totaled 31 wins over the last four seasons, with as many as four games left to play. The USF record for a four-year stretch is 34 wins (2006-09) and the group has shattered the mark for the best three-year stretch going 8-5, 11-2 and now 8-1 to post 27 wins, while earning appearances in three straight bowl games and Top 25 rankings in two seasons. Among the group are players that hold, or are on track to hold, numerous school records, including: Quinton Flowers (career total yards, rushing yards, rushing TD, passing TD, total TD), D’Ernest Johnson (career all-purpose yards), Auggie Sanchez (career tackles & career starts), Emilio Nadelman (season field goals and points) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (season receiving yards). RANKED: USF is ranked for a school record 16th consecutive week and is one of three teams in The American to appear in the Top 25: FLOWERS REACHING ELITE COMPANY: Quinton Flowers is just the 7th FBS player to post 7,000 passing and 3,000 rushing yards on a career. With 61 passing TD and 39 rushing, he is on the cusp of becoming just the 6th FBS player to post at least 60 passing and 40 rushing TD on a career. His 100 total TD responsible for are a USF record.
