Who gets credit for rebuilding the USF football program?

The 2014 recruiting class has been huge and was that turning point class. Playmakers across that entire board. CWT established a recruiting ideal with his staff sticking with local and Florida guys and it paid dividends. I firmly believe it was all Taggart's recruiting chops. I also give bonus points to whomever decided to change the offense to a spread. I like to assume it was Tags, but word on the street is Harlan had a say. 

 

To tie it in to the OP and basketball; if Gregory starts with the local and statewide kids, the same result could be possible. I think it's important to make the local University appealing to recruits in the state before you reach out to NY//Cali. I would not hate having 3 to 5 guys sign from the Bay Area and supplement that with JUCO and grad transfers.
