Doesn't look good for us. Marvin Wilson has the USF hat in the middle. Too obvious.

No official visit = not happening

If you are holding your breath on Wilson you will be sorely disappointed. I mean, come on.

Haha. I'm not. It was a joke.

USF will have 18 commits (Kegler still needs to be officially included)

The USF 247 site lists only 16 (Kegler is already listed).

It is still missing Jeremiah Stafford and Keirston Johnson,

Assuming they are properly added later today, USF will be 5th in the AAC overall and 4th based on player average.

That's good enough. Rarely, if ever, are rankings in agreement with the results. With that being said, being able to land a top 5 class in the conference given the circumstances is a great sign for the state of the program. As long as we can stay in the top 3-5 we will be fine. There will be 2 stars that explode, and higher rated guys that don't succeed. Overall, very very solid class.

And you know he'll touch the USF hat first, just to scare everyone and then grab the real selection.

Wilson announcement coming up here shortly. If he somehow decides to go to USF, I will immediately go out and get myself some PowerBall tickets.

didn't you guys have to change the name of shaggy bevo?

Yep,  Shaggy Texas now, but it'll always be Shaggy Bevo to me.

One more Texas anecdote on Strong and then I'll shut up and let you revel in the here and now.

In Charlie's first full class at Texas, the second-to-lowest ranked player in the class was D'onta Foreman who had a really nice career at Texas and is hoping to be taken in the NFL draft.

When Mack Brown was coach, Texas recruited a lot of four an five star players.  Some panned out, some didn't.

At Texas, Charlie still snagged a good many blue chips but he also took a whole lot of under the radar the radar guys who came in and made immediate impacts.

He knows how to assess talent a whole lot better than rivals and 247 do.
