Exactly.  It's too small an area to even get panties in a wad over.  And anyone watching the game on TV last night saw TONS of red Blackhawks jerseys in the lower level.  

 

I did see that some Tampa-area Blackhawk fans led some protest against the policy.  That got an LOL out of me.

When I went to a televised USB BB game this season, there was an older couple sitting in the expensive floor seats wearing the opposing teams shirts.

They were told to remove them and were given USF shirts instead

 

I had no problems with that.
