Man this is an EARLY one...

Predicted Wins: FAMU, SMU, UCONN, Syracuse, Temple & Navy

Predicted Losses: Maryland, Cincy, Memphis, FSU, ECU, UCF

7-6 winning a lower tier bowl game against CUSA or MAC team...

Would be a big improvement over what we've seen, and it's what we need to go forward. Anything less than a 6 win season, and I fear we will be "rebuilding" again under another coach..something we cannot afford to do right now as a program...we need to win.

That's not fixing it, since it's his opinion.  Your opinion is obviously quite different.

I think we'll beat FAMU for a home win...

for those of you who have forgotten what that's like, it's pretty cool.  We get to walk out of the stadium with our heads held high yelling Bulls chants, etc.  Looking forward to it.

The other good news is that we should know where we are headed by the end of September.

Not beating the Naval Academy.

Top 10 teams struggle against them.  I would not be surprised if Navy makes a run at AAC championship.  Looking over the land scape of the conference, I really do not see that stand out defense that can stop Keenan Reynolds and the monster full backs.

Not even memphis? They have a fantastic defense.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
