I hope CWT reaches back out to David Kelly.  That's the guy I wanted.  Good recruiter and daughter is at USF.  

 

Harlan has already nixed that idea... doesn't want USF to be the first to hire him after a show cause.

 

Did he get an interview?  Seems odd CWT would even interview him if that was the case.

Can't really blame Denson for jumping at that chance .... Blame goes to ****head Kelly for going after someone just hired by another program. Must still be pissed we beat them ... Shouldn't religious schools have at least a minimal appearance of ethics?

I'm just telling you what the man said.... Harlan said he didn't want USF to be the first school that hires Kelly back into the coaching ranks.

Its just the perception. Not considering whether he was a good coach or not. I assume good judgement was used when hiring him.

He'll be sorely missed. What he was able to accomplish in such a short amount of time at USF was nothing short of amazing.

Best coach we've ever had.

 

 

Undefeated, and NEVER made a mistake in his entire USF career.

The man got a raise to come to USF from Miami of Ohio. He then got a raise to go from USF to Notre Dame AND to coach at his alma mater, one of the biggest college football programs in the country. What do you expect? At this point that's probably his dream job... No one does their jobs for free and he's gotta do what's best for him and his family. 

 

Doesn't make him a bad person or coach.
